There may be eight Lush stores scattered throughout Chicago, but there's always room for more handmade seaweed masks. For those running low on Whoosh Shower Jelly and Butterball Bath Bombs, a new Lush location is opening at the Oakbrook Center on Black Friday.

The self-described cosmetic deli is a (rare) welcome chain—not just for the jobs they create, but for what they give back to the community. Though Lush is a British company, they're committed to helping every community in which they operate. In Chicago, for instance, they've donated to Safe Humane Chicago, a charity that pairs at-risk youth with at-risk dogs.

Lush will also give the suburbs' ailing shopping malls a much-needed economic boost. “We are proud to have created 70 new jobs for locals,” says Alyssa Gates, Lush Cosmetics Director of US Real Estate. And as any Lush shopper can tell you, the store's sales associate jobs are more hands-on—literally—than any other similar retail position.

As with other Lush stores, the new location will feature product-making demonstrations, complimentary consultations, and brief spa treatments for the under-moisturized consumer. While the official opening is on Black Friday, the store will throw an official grand opening celebration in January.

Visit the new Lush store on the main level of the Oakbrook Center (100 Oakbrook Center, Oakbrook, IL) starting November 28.
