Are you looking to start your holiday shopping early? High-end consignment shop Luxury Garage Sale will host a Holiday Pop-Up at the 900 North Michigan Shops (900 N. Michigan Ave., shop900.com) from November 2 to December 31. You will find gift-worthy designer goods, including handbags, shoes, accessories, and jewelry, on the shopping center’s fifth floor. Labels include Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Hermes.

Top Sale This Week

Tory Burch (45 E. Oak St., toryburch.com) has recently marked down select handbags, shoes, and clothing. Items are now up to 60 percent off and will be available while supplies last.


Billy Reid, the high-end American fashion brand, has opened a West Loop boutique (845 W. Randolph St., billyreid.com). The bi-level space carries items such as pleated yellow skirts ($495), men’s pea coats, and K-Swiss high-top shoes ($195).

Journelle, the luxury lingerie brand, will open its first Chicago boutique on November 20 at 1725 North Damen Avenue. The store will sell bras, loungewear, hosiery, swimwear, and more from brands such as Chantelle and La Perla.

NewCity (1501 N. Halsted St., experiencenewcity.com) hosts its grand opening events Friday through Sunday. The Lincoln Park complex combines residences with shopping, dining, and entertainment; stores include women’s clothing shop Evereve and James & Sons Fine Jewelers.

The Michael Jordan brand Nike store is now open at 32 South State Street (nike.com). The store carries collectible sneakers, sportswear, and kids’ apparel.


Local fashion designer Michelle Tan will close her Bucktown boutique (1920 N. Damen Ave., michelletan.com) at the end of the month. In an email to clients, Tan said that her next endeavors include showing at the Merchandise Mart’s One of a Kind Show in December. The designer’s clothes are also featured on the hit TV show Empire.

The annual St. Jude’s “Dream a Little Dream” fashion show will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont this Sunday (5555 N. River Rd., Rosemont) For tickets, call Allison Newton at (773) 784-6704.
