Do you have plans this Friday night? If you don’t, come out to The Interview Show at the Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia) where Jan Parr and I will be “on the couch” (the ugliest couch you’ll ever see either of us seated on) talking about our new book, Chicago Spaces, as well as about Chicago design in general and Chicago Home + Garden office gossip. (If you do have plans, perhaps you need to cancel them!) The host of The Interview Show is my husband, Mark Bazer, and as much as possible I have indoctrinated him into the world of design. In the past, he’s had Nate Berkus on his show (see video here), Jeanne Gang (see video here), and Larry Vodak of Scout (see video here). The show starts at 6:30 and goes until 8, and also features professional wrestler Colt Cabana, singer Tony Rogers, and comedian Kelsie Huff. Come early to get good seats! Tickets: $8.
