If you can’t get enough of him at his three downtown eateries, take a tour of Rick Bayless’s garden as well. Located in three adjacent lots at his Bucktown home, the garden is both beautiful and functional—it supplies microgreens and other delectable veggies to his restaurants. Sign up now for next summer because the wait list is long (people who queued up in 2010 are just now getting their spin through the greenery). Garden manager Bill Shores runs the one-hour tours on select Wednesdays (May – Sept.) at 6:30 p.m., $20 per person.
