Interior designer Julia Edemann’s showroom on Grand Avenue is a beautiful rough-meets-elegant space for showing art, as was evidenced by her recent exhibit of Francine Turk’s nudes. The same art management company that curated that show, locally based GreggLane, has just put together a new exhibit featuring the late self-taught Chicago painter Manfred “Harvey” Ward and North Shore photographer Maggie Meiners (the subject of her series, called “Childhood Contemplation,” is Lite-Brites—remember them?). Check it out now, through March 4.
