Every year I look forward to the Celebration of Home & Garden tour in pretty southwest Michigan, just an hour and a half drive from the city. This year’s tour, which takes place Saturday, benefits the Heartland Alliance, as usual, and features a house on seven acres sitting on a bluff overlooking the Galien River, a rehabbed abandoned artist studio that overlooks Lake Michigan, a neo-classical farm house, and several homes in the Wildwood Community (which have been off limits to touring until this year). One of the Wildwood homes belongs to renowned landscaper Craig Bergmann. The Wildwood house pictured is also on the tour; you’ll just have to attend to find out which one it is.
