Ever stumble across an amazing vintage shop and wonder: How did I not know this was here? Well a new website is making sure you know where every single shop selling used and vintage furniture, home décor, and accessories is. It’s called Secondhandchicago.com and it lists the 500 thrift, vintage, and upscale resale shops in the region (there are 150 in the city and the rest are in the surrounding suburbs and towns). We aren’t just talking Salvation Army and Goodwill—there are also stores like Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, shown here, which sells building materials, lighting fixtures, and accessories. The site organizes the shops into geographic regions, so you’ll know you won’t have to travel all the way across town to check out some cool vintage decor.
