This is one of the few Mecox Gardens stores outside the company’s tony Hamptons home base, the only place in town where two antique concrete greyhounds sit cheek by jowl with stunning reproduction David Adler urns. Owner Mac Hoak picks estate sales clean of their best garden ornaments and also commissions “re-editions” of classic faux-bois benches and Victorian wire furniture. “What you won’t find,” says store manager Ken Chrzastek, “are webbed vinyl chaises or pierced aluminum coffee tables.”
