The latest newcomer to the developing furniture row along the Clybourn corridor (in the vicinity of Arhaus, Jayson Home & Garden, and Walter E. Smythe) is the first Chicago outpost of the modern Danish chain BoConcept (1901 N. Clybourn Ave., 773-388-2900; boconcept.us). The offerings in this 6,000-square-foot showroom are less expensive than upscale European lines of the same style, says owner Francisco Figueroa (sofas here start at around $1,500). He promises a casual café vibe at the store, featuring cappuccinos and kiosks with monitors that allow you to virtually design your future BoConcept-filled space. Find everything from dining tables to sofas to storage units, all available in custom sizes, with multiple upholstery options and wood finishes.
