Critic’s Notes

Go for the locally sourced prime beef and you will likely return for the craft cocktails, the fresh seafood, and the genial retro-chic vibe. Chef-partner Joey Beato goes full carnivore with massive split bones oozing roasted marrow, a short-rib and oxtail terrine, and a dry-aged rib eye; he goes nautical with seafood towers and elegant tuna crudo sparked with fermented pepper. If there is room in your stomach, the brown sugar pound cake with lemon curd will find a place in your heart.
