Old-fashioned and proud of it, this Marina City outpost of a national chain offers splendid views of the Chicago River and a menu of family-farmed Iowa beef. Four weeks of dry-aging makes for luscious bone-in rib eyes and Kansas City sirloins—tasty even when the kitchen misses the mark on doneness. Crab is super-generous in the fine crab cake and lump crab cocktail; buttermilk-battered onion rings are spot-on. Expect to pay top dollar for the steaks and for the wines and huge martinis, but also expect excellent service. Head downstairs to the grill for a more casual dinner.
