The Duck Inn
Critic’s Notes
Kevin Hickey’s boisterously fun and welcoming corner tavern makes absolutely no bones about its obsession with duck meat. By all means, preorder the signature rotisserie duck for two—accompanied by a watermelon radish salad soaked with irresistible drippings. You also can’t go wrong with Hickey’s Chicago-style duck-fat dog or his sage-smothered carbonara with duck egg. Service can drag a bit, but turn your attention to the smart beer and cocktail list, and you won’t notice the occasional slow patches.
