Marie Whitney may be the first lady of the Chicago Cubs—her husband is team president Theo Epstein—but that’s far from her main hustle. In the four years since launching the luxe fashion line Two Penny Blue, the New Jersey native has sold more than 1,000 of its trademark formfitting jackets, donating a uniform to an African schoolgirl for each—a company promise. “I had a dream of starting something of my own to give me flexibility in this crazy baseball life,” says Whitney, 37, whose sense of crisp tailoring frames the Lake View home she shares with her husband, their two boys, and a rescue dog, Winston. Here are some of her favorite things.
