Chicago’s culinary stars aligned for one night July 25 when more than 20 restaurants featured in the magazine’s “50 Best Restaurants” special edition served up decadent bites to a sold-out crowd of 350 foodies. The event also included signature cocktails courtesy of Don Julio, Ketel One Botanical, and Zacapa Rum. Guests were greeted with sparkling sangria from 90+ Cellars, noshed on coffee and Stan’s Donuts at University of Chicago Medicine’s coffee bar, nibbled on popcorn at Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn bar, played lawn games on the beach, and much more. A portion of the ticket proceeds benefitted Pilot Light, an organization that helps kids make healthier choices.
