The 27th annual Green Tie Ball went off last Friday at the Geraghty. Hosts Candace Jordan, Nina Mariano, and LMFAO's Redfoo rubbed elbows with nearly 1,000 guests — among them Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney — to raise more than $300,000 for Chicago Gateway Green, a nonprofit that works to beautify the city's highways. The night's theme, “Green Eggs & Glam,” introduced a touch of Seussian whimsy while emcees Marion Brooks and Eric Ferguson kept the crowd going late into the night.
