The rock lounge Angels & Kings, formerly of River North, reopened last night to an invite-only crowd in the lobby of the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. Pete Wentz and his new band, Black Cards, played a short set before posing on the red carpet (that’s him, with what we can only assume are pro-Bears swipes of solidarity greasepaint) then hitting the bar. The band Your Villain My Hero and the DJ duo Team Bayside High followed Wentz and Co. on stage.
