The Garfield Park Conservatory: Fine place to have a pint of ale.

Chicago Craft Beer Week kicked off in fine fashion Thursday at Beer Under Glass, a fundraiser for the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance.

Nearly 50 vendors set up shop both inside the Garfield Park Conservatory and on its lawn. About 1,200 of the city's biggest brew enthusiasts wandered the pristine grounds. They paused for refills from places like Pipeworks Brewing, 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, and Spiteful Brewing, then helped themselves to snacks from vendors like Marion Street Cheese Market, Fountainhead, and Inspiration Kitchens.

Chicago stopped by to see who showed up—and who might still be sipping fine ales at what's left of Craft Beer Week's top 29 events running from now through Sunday.
