Make and Bake Bread Art
Sculpted molds by artists Amber Ginsburg and Joe Madrigal are used to bake bread loaves into body-part shapes. Visitors are encouraged to mix and knead the dough, fill the molds, and use the art center’s kilns to bake them. Free. Look Up into the Trees
Ten dead trees around Chicago have been transformed by ten local sculptors—including Indira Johnson and Ken Johnson, Mia Capodilupo—who either carve the bark or costume the trunks.
