July 22, 2010- PAWS Chicago, the city’s largest No Kill, humane organization hosted the 8th Annual Beach Party on Thursday, July 22 at Castaways Boathouse at North Avenue Beach. This year’s event had more than 500 people and dogs in attendance, making it one of Chicago’s largest pet-friendly social gatherings. Presented by Associated Publications and North Community Bank, this year’s Beach Party was the most successful to-date, raising nearly $225,000 for homeless pets! Read more

July 28, 2010 - Chicago magazine kicked off its 40th anniversary celebration with the “Best of Chicago” event on Market’s Rooftop Lounge to honor the 2010 August issue’s editorial honorees. The winners and their guests enjoyed delicious bites by Market along with specialty cocktails by Don Julio, Ketel One Oranje, and Stella Artois.
