September 25, 2008-- Fashionistas joined the Chicago History Museum and Chicago magazine to celebrate the Exhibition Preview Event for Chic Chicago: Couture Treasures from the Chicago History Museum. Chic Chicago chronicled Chicago's fashion history through the decades with extraordinary garments from 1861 to 2004, which represented the most prominent couturiers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Each gown had a strong connection to Chicago and belongs to the Museum's permanent collection. Chic Chicago runs through July 26, 2009 and offers a rare opportunity to see more than 60 of the greatest couture treasures from the Chicago History Museum's collection.

September 24, 2008—Guests joined Chicago magazine at the River East Arts Center to preview the new 2009 Audi A4. Guests were treated to delectable hor d’oeuvres and themed spirits such as the “Quarttini” and “Progressive POM” as well as a Don Julio tasting bar, all provided by Diageo. The 2009 Audi R8, and an Audi Formula One racecar were also on display. Following the unveiling of the 2009 A4, guests had a chance to experience the innovative features, design and luxurious amenities.
