Pop-Up

State St.). Open from August 14 to September 14, the shop features international designers including Etudes Studio, Les Benjamins, Yang Li, and Andrea Yaaqov.

Event

Oak Park women’s boutique Muse (106 N. Marion St., Oak Park, museoakpark.com) is hosting a night of art and markdowns (to as low as $40 for summer pieces) on August 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. The soiree will be a chance for Muse’s artist in residence, Alicia Marie of Spotted Kettle (etsy.com/shop/spottedkettlestudio), to showcase her line of greeting cards, hand-painted pillows, and tote bags. Attendees will also get first dibs on the shop’s new fall collection.

Market

On August 16, Vintage Garage Chicago returns (5051 N. Broadway, vintagegaragechicago.com) with a “Back to the Future” theme. This shopping event will have a DJ spinning ’80s classics amid 100 vintage and antiques dealers. The market is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
