Women’s fashion designer and critical darling Wes Gordon will appear at a trunk show displaying his latest collection at Neapolitan (715 Elm St., Winnetka, neapolitanonline.com). Now's your chance to view his spring and resort 2016 collections, as well as select pieces from his fall and winter collections. He will be at the store until 2 p.m. today, and the collection will be displayed until 6 p.m. today and again from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sautrday. Top Sale This Week

In honor of Columbus Day, several stores at Fashion Outlets of Chicago (5220 Fashion Outlets Way, fashionoutletsofchicago.com) will host sales from October 9 to 12. Deals include 40 percent off all sweaters and outerwear at Tommy Hilfiger and an additional 25 percent off jewelry at Helzberg Diamonds.

As part of Fashion Focus Chicago, a citywide event celebrating fashion put on by the City of Chicago roving marketplace Northern Grade will set up shop at 1st Ward/Chop Shop (2033 W. North Ave., northerngrade.com) on Saturday and Sunday. The bazaar will showcase made-in-the-U.S. fashion from brands such as Krammer & Stoudt and Ohio Knitting Mills. You can also sip on drink tastings from the likes of Brooklyn Gin and Longman & Eagle. The free event is open to the public on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pop-Up

Menswear brand The Tie Bar will host a pop-up shop at TheWit Hotel (201 N. State St., thewithotel.com) from October 9 to January 1, 2016. On the lobby level, the shop will offer an assortment of holiday gifts for guys—think bowties, neckties, tie bars, pocket squares, and belts.
