November 2, 2011--Chicago Home + Garden's second annual Chairs for Charity event was a hit, as more than 250 of Chicagoland's design lovers came out in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Hosted at Chicago Art Source in Lincoln Park, Chairs for Charity featured re-imagined vintage chairs from 15 of Chicago's top designers, architects, and artists. Guests enjoyed delicious bites from chef Jared Van Camp's highly anticipated restaurant, Nellcôte, while bidding on chairs throughout the evening. The event raised more than $7,000 to support research to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams was the sponsor of the auction program book. Read more
