Atlanta-based Bradley Hughes’ new showroom at the Mart is fabulous for many reasons. First, it’s not cluttered. It feels almost like a gallery. Most pieces—sofas, tables, mirrors, lighting, and even bath consoles—are scaled large (but don’t worry non-mansion owner, you can order custom sizes!), and company founder Michelle Bradley was smart to go with the less-is-more approach in displaying them. What else makes it so fab? The fact that they have a wall devoted to samples of materials and finishes, from antiqued mirrored glass to different colors and styles of stone. This makes it so handy to pick and choose a base plus a surface for a table. For example, the company has an island-size table that would be marvelous in a kitchen—with your choice of surface. Interior designer Jillian O’Neill, long-time Bradley fan, was at the opening—she had just plucked the table shown above for her room at the upcoming Lake Forest Showhouse; she also recently ordered a dining table with a mirrored-glass surface for a client (sounds stunning… and apparently it’s easy to maintain).
