Architect Ben Holiday moonlights as an artist, and his favorite subject matter is (what else?) architecture. Working in various media—spray paint, oil pens on canvas, silk, and other materials—he creates colorful interpretations of buildings and skylines from around the world, including Chicago, where he lives (see Wabash above). He sells originals on his website and high-resolution photographic reproductions stretched on canvas through White Attic, where they have been flying out the door. CB2 has also picked up one of his editions, Escape, which will be in stores this month. Prices range from $1,500 to $5,000 for an original, at benholiday. com, and $225 to $395 for a reproduction, at White Attic, 5225 N. Clark St., 773-907-9800; 1842 N. Damen Ave., 773-252-8844, thewhiteattic.com.
