Something to Talk About

Trisha London’s shop is full of interesting, strikingly affordable contemporary pieces, from accent furniture and lamps to rugs and art.

Michael Ruh's vase-within-a-vase
When interior designer Trisha London was scouting for merchandise for her new Wicker Park store, Zella Brown, she sought “things that look handmade” and “conversation pieces.” And she found them. Her shop is full of interesting, strikingly affordable contemporary pieces, from accent furniture and lamps to rugs and art. “There’s no glass-and-steel in here,” she says. “Everything is modern, but feels warm.” Shown here, Michael Ruh’s “vase-within-a-vase,” from $360 each. 1444 N. Milwaukee Ave., 773-276-1746
