Streeterville, rejoice—the Lettuce Entertain You team has carved a nook out of the Tru kitchen for M Burger, a walk-up counter offering delectably inexpensive burgers, fries, shakes, and nothing else. Tim Hockett, a Lettuce corporate chef, led the charge by creating the signature M Burger (all-natural Midwest beef on a warm toasted bun slathered with a secret sauce) and the curiously named Nurse Betty (veggie burger). Take it to go: With scant seating, M is no place for a leisurely lunch—and don’t even think about sticking your greasy paws into Tru. 161 E. Huron St.; 312-254-8500.
