Following the departure of acclaimed chef Thai Dang, Embeya’s owner Attila Gyulai took two weeks to regroup. Gyulai has named Michael Sheerin (Cicchetti) as the new chef for the Asian-leaning kitchen and dramatic dining room. What to expect: Sheerin’s Midwestern version of Asian food, a much deeper European wine selection (400 bottles), a new private dining space (up to 70 seats), and a spiffed up outdoor café.
