Bibim bap, chap chae, kalbi, and other standards deliver the goods at this unpretentious, casually hip Andersonville spot. Start with straightforward pajun; its texture is just what we want in a scallion pancake. We also liked our steamed kimchi mandoo, pretty little one-bite dumplings made even more fun with chili-oil dipping sauce. Among entrées, domi stands out—pan-fried tilapia with marinated eggplant, fat slices of portobello mushroom, and baby carrots—its gingery sauce (with a little wasabi, hot mustard, and shredded radish) is a terrific touch. Cool down with Cass or other Korean beers.
