You don’t have to be a member of the East Bank Club to enjoy this comfy dining room, where dinners start with an impressive breadbasket and relish platter and segue into solid offerings of salads, sandwiches, steaks, seafood, and pasta, with many small-plate choices. We love the wild mushroom soup, seared ahi tuna, orecchiette with sweet Italian sausage, and Gorgonzola-slathered filet mignon. And who can resist the coconut ice-cream snowball for dessert? Not us. Respectful service evokes memories of a kinder, more accommodating era. Friday is Italian Night; Wednesday is small plates ($22 for any three).
