Thigh-high boots offer slinky, slightly kinky sex appeal.

Designer Brian Atwood doesn’t mince words when explaining why he created a thigh-high boot for his fall collection. “My reason was its fetish appeal,” he says, adding that the boots elongate the silhouette of a woman’s leg. When it comes to finding the right pair, Atwood offers this tip: Only buy boots that fit comfortably around the ankle and leg. “The best boots are stretch and have a zipper for easy entrance and exit,” he adds. Atwood also encourages women to experiment beyond black. “Don’t be afraid to wear boots in bold colors,” he says. “Enjoy them!”
