Everyone has to grow up sometime: Vodka Red Bulls upgrade to Grey Goose martinis; midnight start times get dialed back to 10 p.m. The guys behind Sound-Bar, Y, and Zentra have long provided hot spots for the very young and restless, but their glam new venture, Fuel Kitchen & Cocktail Lounge, caters more toward the latter. A black-as-oil bar cordons off decorative gas pumps repurposed as TV stands. High-gloss concrete floors and floor-to-ceiling windows drive home the super-premium garage vibe. During the day, locals pull in for fresh-squeezed juices and smoothies; come dinner, patrons order up pizzas and burgers; as the night motors on, scenesters refill with blackberry mojitos and Campari martinis. But gas gets pumped outside, and your evening is likely to imitate: A 70-seat patio stretches around the corner of Division Street and Hermitage Avenue. And if you hear the younger you calling, power up with the signature Fueltini ($12), made with Cîroc Vodka and better–than–Red Bull Lavazza espresso.
