The fashion event returns with spring collections, student creations and emerging designers

Fashion Focus Chicago returns with a four-day set of runway shows and events Oct. 22nd through 25th. Here are this year’s highlights: Oct. 22nd: Macy’s presents the Designers of Chicago, a preview of its spring 2010 collections from resident designers Jess Audey, Nora Del Busto, and other local up-and-comers. 7:30 p.m., Millennium Park, Chase Promenade North (Randolph Street and Michigan Avenue). Reservations required; free. Oct. 23rd: Dress Code: The Chicago Design Schools Show features creations from students. 7:30 p.m., Millennium Park. Reservations required; free. Oct. 24th: Gen Art’s seventh annual Fresh Faces in Fashion showcases emerging fashion and accessories designers. 8 p.m., Millennium Park. Reservations required; admission TBD. genart.org.
