Opening: (K)new

The second chapter from Think’s ambitious chef

By Jeff Ruby

If it can overcome its irritatingly twee name, (K)new could develop into a Logan Square standby. The second chapter from Think’s ambitious chef, Omar Rodriguez, and his wife, Ryvkah Goodman-Rodriguez, this 130-seat BYO takes Think’s quirky globe-hopping upscale. “We could have amazing seviche one night, and the next we might poach a pear and use cheese in the middle and homemade sausage and a red wine reduction,” says Goodman-Rodriguez. “Our regular customers from Think [which closed in August] knew that Omar jumped all over the place.” And with a larger kitchen at (K)new, Rodriguez should have considerably more room to jump. 2556 W.
