In Chicago, "Who's your daddy?" isn’t a snipe; it’s a legit question. Lately, the local broadcast world has turned into a case in point. The two sons of veteran WTTW (11) Chicago Tonight anchor Phil Ponce are now in the game as reporters, Dan at WLS-TV (7) and Anthony at WMAQ-TV (5). Then there’s WGN-TV (9) weekend anchor Robert Jordan’s daughter Karen at WLS (7); Comcast SportsNet’s Dan Jiggetts’s daughter Lauren at WMAQ (5); and WCKG radio icon Steve Dahl’s son Matt, who follows him on 105.9 FM. If the kids feel any pressure, it doesn’t show. In our town, genealogy rocks.
