Return: The Claim Company

A longtime anchor in Northbrook Court is revamped

By Carrie Boyd

Northbrook Court’s longtime anchor from a generation back has laid claim to the old Palm space for a revamped Claim Company concept, set to open in mid-September. The all-American menu will be strikingly similar to its predecessor’s—“probably 90 percent the same,” according to GM-turned-owner Michael Holleb—including the legendary Motherlode burger and a massive salad bar. Recalling the old CC space, the new interior will involve the use of neon lights and desert scenes but will be void of the claustrophobia-inducing railway car of old. 2000 Northbrook Court, Northbrook; 847-291-9111.

Good Lord! I almost ran my car off the road when I saw "The Claim Company" sign outside of Northbrook Court! I LOVED the Motherlode when I was a kid, and I can't wait to sink my teeth into another one!
