ART FOLLOWS FASHION
Givenchy, the French fashion house that brings moodiness to clean-lined clothes, is one of Abloh’s favorite labels. He shares the preference with friend and collaborator Kanye West, who recruited Givenchy’s creative director, Riccardo Tisci, to design the cover of Watch the Throne, the new album by West and another sovereign of hip hop: Jay-Z.

Hello,
I am writing to you as I tried to call a 1-800 number that was at first picked up, and hung up when it was realized I was a "nobody", but what they did not realize is I am happy being a nobody, and simply, honestly wanted to tell Kanye West that I am so very proud of him for not going to the Grammy ceremony tonight even though he was a nominee.
He did not publicize it, or try to in any way to gain admiration for it, but I just know in my soul that he did not because he is a genuine person, and felt grief for the loss of Whitney Houston and would not bring himself to do it for public comsumption.
Thank his Mother for that for raising him right, and if that sounds like a southern thing, IT IS. I know he would never read this in a million years, and I don't need a reply, but if whoever sees this could tell him that there are those out here proud of him and to please continue to be who he is... That is enough. Thank you and take care. Jennifer Weigant
