The Perfect Dress

2010 FashioNext winner:
VWIDON by Carla & Kenneth

Carla Hwang and Kenneth Park captured the artful detailing at the back, which was the signature of the Scassi garment that inspired them. Making it totally their own by using Brentano sheer drapery, they created a flirty above-the-knee dress that was beautiful, whimsical, and stunningly simple.

Husband and wife designers Kenneth Park and Carla Hwang met each other in their senior year at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Park majored in fine art, and Hwang majored in fashion design. After graduating from the school, they launched a partnership named VWIDON, which was followed by their first bridal collection in 2001.
