DeAndre Jordan’s Monster Dunk Has Nothing on Taj Gibson’s

Something special happened last night. But it wasn’t as impressive as the stunning pair of dunks a Bulls player put up in a game last year.

Ok, so yeah, that was indeed a monstrous jam by DeAndre Jordan over Detroit’s Brandon Knight yesterday. And yeah, I can see why it’s gotten some pretty good YouTube love (nearly 940,000 views as of 3:30 p.m.).

For my money, though, it’s still not as good as the two slams in the same game, by the same Chicago Bulls player against none other than the Miami Heat two years ago. Check it and see. I’d still stack either one of those jams (especially the first, in which Gibson posterizes Chicago native Dwayne Wade) against Jordan’s.
