How Studs Terkel Wanted to Be Remembered

Studs Terkel (he would have been 100 today), in 1975, talked about... well, the meaning of life. It's interesting, and moving, that he modestly stumbles through stuff like immortality and delighting in life and leaving an impact, and then Terkel—who interviewed almost everyone amazing who was alive during his lifetime—settles on being told by someone who read Working that it changed how they treated service staff.
