Monday, 4/8: Grab one of the remaining seats at Ada St. (1664 N. Ada St., 773-697-7069) for its $42 anniversary six-course dinner (drink pairings cost an additional $25). Seatings are at 6 at 8:30; see the menu here

Monday–Thursday, 4/8–4/11: Buy an order of empanadas ($5.95–$7.95) and get another one free at Nacional 27 (325 W. Huron St., 312-664-2727) in honor of National Empanadas Day on Monday. The options for filling are queso, chicken, chorizo, plantain, and steak.

Wednesday, 4/10: Skip the peanuts and Cracker Jack so you don’t spoil your “baseball cut” steak dinner at Socca (3301 N. Clark St., 773-248-1155). The reasonably sized eight-ounce steaks cost only $10, with side dishes like ricotta gnocchi and broccoli rabe available à la carte.

Thursday, 4/11: Party with Moonshine Brewing Co. (1824 W. Division St., 773-862-8686) for its 12th birthday. Sandwiches, normally $10 to $13, are half-price and Moonshine’s house beers are $4.

Sunday, 4/14: Treat the whole family to Sunday Supper at Vie (4471 Lawn Ave., Western Springs, 708-246-2082) for $30 per adult and $15 for half portions (kids 11 and under pay their age). Those supping on this week’s three-course menu can choose their entrée from whitefish and hush puppies, wood-grilled sirloin with white beans and Tuscan kale, or ricotta ravioli with sweet peas and shiitake mushrooms. Call for reservations.
