First Bite at Burke’s Bacon Bar: More Bacon, Please

With small portions on a playful menu, this new spot at The James is not as overindulgent as it sounds.

The best thing about the beef ‘n’ cheddar handwich at Burke’s Bacon Bar is the way it’s packed with melted cheese and crisp Matilda bacon. The Big Kahuna Spamwich is a four-biter and needed more bacon crumbs, but a chewy bacon chocolate chip cookie made up for it.

The thing I liked least were the prices. I spent $11 for not much food.
