Black Wednesday brought more parties than we could shake a turkey leg at, but smart barflies started off the long weekend at Sheffield’s, where Thanksgiving Eve festivities included a raffle (Opening day Cubs tickets! Fancy beer!) and enough shots to steel patrons for four days of family togetherness.

I think it is time for a Last Girl (not so) Standing update- I miss the blogging on relationships. Surely you have new insight now that you are a newlywed. C'mon- tell us how happy you are. Provide some inspiration to the rest of us!!!!
I really haven't tried to crap on this blog since you got married. I figured you would be busy with trying to find a house, settle in, ect... but I have to say, this is terrible! Nothing even close to being relevant has been posted for at least a year. How do you still have this column?! I’m pretty sure my sister that is in 6th grade could write a blog and have it be more interesting then this.
I bet Anonymous's sister in the 6th grade also knows how to use then vs. than.
I agree with an above poster though - I miss LGS! We can read about nightlife anywhere. I want to know more about married life. You baited us with an inside look at what your single years were like, let us in while you planned your wedding, and now you're back to writing about nightlife, as if none of that other stuff ever happened? Just like when you pissed off your single readers by writing about being engaged, now you're pissing off those of us who want to know what married life is like! This is like waiting for Sex and the City: The Movie for four brutal years... Will there be a Last Girl Standing: The Book?
Seriously, you started this...now give us the rest!
