Weekend Photos: The Double

There’s family vacation, and then there’s vacation from family. Welcome to your new I-just-need-30-minutes-to-myself holiday drinking destination: The Double, which opened December 10th in Logan Square. Our photographer stopped by on Friday and found a room of low-key locals calmly sipping beers available on draft and by the bottle, plus a daily Double special (Friday’s was a pint of PBR and a shot of Jameson for $7). Also on the menu: a few 22-ounce bottles to share (Three Floyds’ Dreadnaught, $20), in case you’re not the only family member who needs a breather—or a beer.
