Talk about a view: On Saturday, our photographer headed up to the new 16th-floor Terrace at Trump to snap folks sipping drinks in the shadow of the Navy Pier fireworks. Suddenly our back porch doesn’t look so chic.

Call it bar hopping by proxy: Each week we send our photographers into the thick of the action to capture the latest openings and the most buzzed-about events; then, on Mondays, we post the photos here, where you can view them without getting elbowed in the side or having a drink spilled down your pants.
