Weekend Photos: Old Town Pour House

Posted Mar 26, 2012 at 10:58 AM

At around 10 p.m., a line literally poured out onto Wells Street outside the nearly two-week-old Old Town Pour House. Inside, a well-heeled crowd buzzed with activity, packing both levels to the hilt. Formerly Jerry Kleiner’s 33 Club, the space maintains a polished look (think dark wooden accents, a grand staircase, and high ceilings), but thanks to 24 flatscreens and more than 90 beers on tap, it has quickly become one of the busiest spots on the nightlife scene.

About Seen on the Scene

Call it bar hopping by proxy: Each week we send our photographers into the thick of the action to capture the latest openings and the most buzzed-about events; then, on Mondays, we post the photos here, where you can view them without getting elbowed in the side or having a drink spilled down your pants. You’re welcome. And for those who do run into our photographers out and about, be sure to smile for the camera.
