Three Dots and a Dash fans no longer have to trek down to River North for some tiki fun: Paul McGee opened his latest rum-filled hotspot in Logan Square last week, and already we can tell this is going to be one of the hottest bars of 2015.

Lost Lake fully commits to the tiki theme. The waitstaff wears Hawaiian shirts, reggae music blasts around the main bar, the fish tank behind the bar houses some piranhas and a few skulls—and of course, there are tons of colorful drinks with tropical twists, such as the house cocktail (aged Jamaican rum, passionfruit, pineapple, and campari) and "Wave of Mutilation/A Fish Tank Needs Sharks" (served in a fiery conch shell).

The place was jammed when we stopped by Saturday night, with a line out the door that didn't calm down until 1 a.m. No doubt the adjoining Thank You Chinese Takeout was also a draw—the restaurant will "deliver" fried rice, spring rolls, and a few other select dishes to your table at Lost Lake.

Here's what else we saw when we stopped by this weekend.
