How the Logan Theatre Dressed Up for the Oscars

Vintage threads, bites from Parson’s, and a raffle for Pitchfork tickets made the Golden Gala a magical evening on Milwaukee.

For the glamorous Chicagoan unable to make it to the Los Angeles for the Academy Awards, there was an alternate red carpet right here: the Golden Gala at the Logan Theatre.

Last night, vintage-clad scenesters stepped through a paparazzi station by the theatre’s entrance. Inside, guests sipped cocktails and savored from Parson’s Chicken & Fish before the awards got started. During commercial breaks, popcorn was passed, movie trivia was asked, raffle prizes were drawn, and an award was given for the best-dressed attendee of the evening.

If you missed this party, don’t panic—the Logan will also play host to a Mad Men premiere party this spring (which was pretty fantastic last year.)
