Because nothing brings out the lust for nostalgic kitsch like the holidays, Broadway Antique Market (6130 N. Broadway, 773-743-5444) begins its annual holiday sale this week. Seventy-five vendors sell their finds at this vintage department store, and every last object and oddity gets marked down by 15 to 50 percent during the storewide sale.

Make sure to explore both floors, as one never really knows what they’ll discover at BAM: There may just be a handsome pair of mid-century modern chairs or a 1970s tweed blazer hiding around the corner. And if you love the campy stuff, there’s always a great selection of curious collectables and eclectic goods. The sale kicks off on tonight with a holiday party from 6 to 9 p.m. and continues through December 15. Shop hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
