Top Sale this Week

ENAZ (enaz.com)—a boutique carrying clothing, accessories, and bodycare products—hosts a jewelry warehouse sale at its Highland Park location today, and at its Libertyville outpost on Friday. Take 40 to 60 percent off the store’s necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, and—should you be in the market—body chains. Find locations and hours here.

The Best of the Rest

  • The Taste of Chicago is happening in Grant Park (Jackson & Columbus) through Sunday, and the food fest’s offerings include more than CurryWurst and fried plantains. To see art, apparel, and accessories from 28 local designers and boutiques—as well as runway shows—check out the Fashion Focus Maker Mart. The mart’s hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; admission is free.
  • Blowtique (blowtique.com) is now offering haircuts for men and women. The salon—which formerly provided blow-outs and up-dos only—charges $75 for women’s haircuts, and the service includes a blow-out. For men, the cost is $45. The salon has two locations; find addresses and more information here.
  • Plan ahead for a day of international artistry at Robin Richman (2108 N. Damen Ave., robinrichman.com). On July 16, the Bucktown boutique hosts a trunk show called “Time/Timeless: A Worldly Collection of Textiles, Jewelry, and Art Objects,” and objects from Africa, India, Colombia, and other countries will be on display. The day starts with a 1 p.m. luncheon featuring a lecture on South American textile design; a cocktail reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information, call 773-278-6150.
